💼 Your missions

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance team in Belgium.

You will report directly to Evrard, Finance Manager Belgium, and take ownership of the Accounts Payable function across multiple entities and countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement.

You will manage the AP activities for Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, covering 5 legal entities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Invoice processing: register and process supplier invoices for multiple entities in Payflows

• Supplier payments: manage invoice payments in SAP

• Be the main point of contact for suppliers

• Bank reconciliations: investigate and resolve unmatched transactions

• Month-End Closings: contribute actively to month-end closing for 5 entities.

• Reporting: prepare AP aging reports and track outstanding liabilities.

• Process improvement & systems: act as tech-savvy problem solver within the finance team.

• Support for External audit

😎 Your profile

• Degree in Accounting or related fields.

• 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in dynamic or international environments.

• Solid understanding of accounts payable and good knowledge of general accounting.

• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and finance tools; familiarity with Payflows and Sitetracker is a plus

• Tech and problem-solving oriented

• High accuracy and structured working methodology

• Organisation, proactivity and reliability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with both internal teams and external partners.

• Fluent in French or Dutch, and English; knowledge of the other national language is a plus.
