Legal Intern Benelux
🏠 What Do We Do?
Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and quieter, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main barrier: charging.
Electra is constantly innovating to make electric vehicle charging easier, with a network of fast charging stations (20 minutes on average) and a maximally simplified user experience.
Based in Paris, Lyon, Bordeau, Nantes, Brussels, Madrid, Zurich, Vienna, Munich, Milan and Amsterdam, Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 15,000 fast charging points by 2030, proud to contribute to the energy transition in Europe.
In 5 years, we have:
Deployed +700 stations and over 4000 fast-charging points
Secured thousands of stations to establish Electra as a leader in the European market
Opened several offices in France and Europe
Raised over €1 billion in equity and debt financing from renowned investors and institutions
Joined the French Tech Next 40 and won the European Scale-up of the Year 2024 award
Assembled a team of over 280 talents… and this is just the beginning !
💼 Your Missions
You won't be sitting on the sidelines. From day one, you'll be hands-on, working directly alongside the Benelux legal and sales teams on real deals. Your day-to-day will include:
Drafting and reviewing commercial real estate contracts (term sheets, lease agreements, framework agreements, amendments, formal notices) for a wide range of partners, from SMBs to large-scale key accounts
Reviewing B2B contracts (service agreements, partnership agreements, supply contracts) and flagging key legal and commercial risks
Supporting lease negotiations, including preparing calls, attending negotiation sessions with partners and landlords, and turning around post-call redlines quickly
Coordinating with Sales and Operations teams to gather the information needed to move deals forward
Conducting legal research on topics specific to the EV charging and real estate sectors in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg
Supporting corporate matters, including company structuring, governance and any legal topics arising from Electra's growth in the Benelux region

Precise and detail-oriented: in legal work, the details matter, and you treat them with the care they deserve
Critical and process-minded: you don't just execute, you question, challenge and look for ways to do things better
Not afraid to step outside your comfort zone: in a scale-up, no two days look the same, and that excites you
