Product Designer CPO
🏠 What Do We Do?
The shift to electric mobility is happening. Electra is accelerating it.
Transportation is one of Europe's biggest sources of carbon emissions. Since 2021, Electra exists to make charging so simple that electric vehicles become the obvious choice for everyone.
In 5 years, we've built a team of 300+ talents from 21 nationalities in 10 countries.
We’ve grown into one of Europe's leading fast-charging operators by deploying fast, reliable infrastructure and user experiences across our own network, and we’re now expanding to thousands more charging points in Europe with our own eMSP.
Backed by over €1 billion in funding, we’re looking for bold, passionate, collaborative talents to drive Europe’s energy transition.
If that sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you!
💼 Your Mission
As Product Designer for the Charge Point Operator (CPO) domain, you will shape the experience of electric vehicle drivers on Electra’s charging network — in a product environment where digital interfaces meet real-world infrastructure.
🦸♀️🦸♂️ Your Responsibilities
1. Shape the charging experience across the full CPO domain
Understand what makes the charging experience great (and where it breaks) by learning from users, data, and the broader ecosystem
Design intuitive journeys for drivers charging on Electra stations, whether they use the Electra app or arrive through a third-party eMobility Service Provider (eMSP).
Own the product-design scope for Electra’s physical charging network, spanning the CPO domain’s two product teams
Stations: deliver the on-site charging experience, including Supervision & Power delivery
Roaming: manage traffic on our stations, including CPO Revenue & interoperability with external eMSPs
2. Raise the design bar as Electra scales internationally
Bring strong product craft and systems thinking to both digital and physical touchpoints of the charging experience.
Use modern AI tooling thoughtfully to accelerate research, exploration and delivery while keeping a high bar for quality and governance.
😎 Your Profile
You have significant experience as a Product Designer, with a track record of owning complex product problems end-to-end.
You are comfortable going deep into technical, operational or physical-world systems, and turning complexity into simple user experiences.
You combine strong product sense, design craft and curiosity for AI-enabled ways of working.
You’re fluent in French and English
