Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and quieter, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main barrier: charging.
Electra is constantly innovating to make electric vehicle charging easier, with a network of fast charging stations (20 minutes on average) and a maximally simplified user experience.
Based in Paris, Lyon, Bordeau, Nantes, Brussels, Madrid, Zurich, Vienna, Munich, Milan and Amsterdam, Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 15,000 fast charging points by 2030, proud to contribute to the energy transition in Europe.
In 4 years, we have:
Deployed +550 stations and over 2000 fast-charging points
Secured thousands of stations to establish Electra as a leader in the European market
Opened several offices in France and Europe
Raised over €1 billion in equity and debt financing from renowned investors and institutions
Joined the French Tech Next 40 and won the European Scale-up of the Year 2024 award

💼 Your Missions
As a Public Affairs Officer, your main mission, in collaboration with the European public affairs team based in Paris, is to ensure the monitoring and alignment of regulatory files across various areas at the institutional level in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, in close coordination with the company’s different departments.
The position is based in Berlin with frequent travel within the DACH region to represent Electra’s interests.
You will have 2 days of mobile/remote work per week.

🦸♀️🦸♂️Your responsibilities
- You ensure the monitoring and alignment of regulatory files across various areas at the institutional level within the DACH region - Germany, Austria, Switzerland.
- You contribute to the public affairs team’s work by identifying signals to create opportunities for action.
- You contribute to the Group’s performance by reducing risks related to regulatory and political uncertainty.
- You represent Electra at external events and in meetings with various public and private bodies.
- You collaborate with the German, Swiss and Austrian entities of the company
- You participate in drafting position papers in collaboration with experts.
- You help build and roll out advocacy/interest-representation plans.
- You foster and develop a network of internal and external contacts.
- You maintain a direct link with all local stakeholders such as associations/federations, NGOs, and collaborative platforms.
- You assist the team in producing analyses and technical, economic, and political background papers.
- You create and maintain relationships with entities that may have economic interests for Electra as part of its development.
😎 Your Profile
- You hold a degree in management, economics, political science, or have a generalist engineering background.
- You have a good understanding of major European dossiers and how German, Swiss, and Austrian institutions function.
- You have strong analytical, synthesis, and writing skills.
- You possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate autonomy.
- You are fluent in English and German. Perfect command of German, both written and spoken, is essential.
