Operations Excellence Manager
🏠 What Do We Do?
Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and quieter, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main barrier: charging.
Electra is constantly innovating to make electric vehicle charging easier, with a network of fast charging stations (20 minutes on average) and a maximally simplified user experience.
Based in Paris, Lyon, Bordeau, Nantes, Brussels, Madrid, Zurich, Vienna, Munich, Milan and Amsterdam, Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 15,000 fast charging points by 2030, proud to contribute to the energy transition in Europe.
In 4 years, we have:
Deployed +640 stations and over 4000 fast-charging points
Secured thousands of stations to establish Electra as a leader in the European market
Opened several offices in France and Europe
Raised over €1 billion in equity and debt financing from renowned investors and institutions
Joined the French Tech Next 40 and won the European Scale-up of the Year 2024 award
Assembled a team of over 240 talents… and this is just the beginning !
💼 Your Mission
Within the Operations HQ team, you will be the operational excellence lead: defining the vision and roadmap for how Electra's operations (Maintenance, Customer Care, Logistics) work, scale, and improve. Reporting to the VP Operations and managing a small team of xOps, you will collaborate closely with operational leads, country teams, and the Product Engineering team to ensure our systems and processes scale without compromising quality or cost.
You will own the full xOps agenda, setting priorities together with the VP, driving structural initiatives, and staying close enough to the ground to make things actually happen. This is both a strategic and hands-on role, for someone who enjoys building as much as leading.
Your role is built around three pillars:
Ops Strategy & Roadmap: owning the vision, priorities, and delivery of operational improvement initiatives across all Operations domains
Tools & Systems: leading the deployment and adoption of the right operational tooling across Maintenance, Customer Care, and Logistics
Knowledge & Enablement: building the standards, documentation, and capabilities that empower teams to execute with consistency
🎯 Your Responsibilities
1. Ops Strategy & Continuous Improvement
Own the xOps roadmap for Operations domains
Define and maintain the operational improvement roadmap across Maintenance, Customer Care, and Logistics, aligned with Operations priorities
Identify the highest-leverage initiatives (process, tooling, data, organization) and build the case for prioritization
Translate field realities and business needs into structured, sequenced improvement programs
Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives
Drive end-to-end execution of key initiatives: from diagnosis and design to deployment and measurement
Align stakeholders across HQ and country teams, and ensure sustained adoption
Serve as a thought partner to the VP Operations
Bring structured analysis and clear recommendations on operational challenges
Proactively flag risks and opportunities across the three Ops domains
2. Tools & Systems Ownership
Lead operational tool strategy and deployment
Assess tooling gaps across Maintenance (CMMS/FSM), Customer Care, and Logistics
Define requirements, select vendors where needed, and drive deployment programs end-to-end, in collaboration with Data or Product teams
Leverage experience from industrial ERP or similar deployments to de-risk implementation and drive adoption
Translate operational needs into product requirements
Work closely with the Product Engineering team to ensure internally built tools reflect ground-level realities
Maintain a builder mindset: ready to structure requirements, test solutions, and iterate continuously
Spare parts & supply chain tooling
Structure and improve spare parts tracking, replenishment processes, and supplier coordination in collaboration with the Logistics team
3. Data & Performance
Define and track operational KPIs
Drive the performance framework for xOps initiatives: define metrics, track impact, and report on progress
Leverage operational data to identify improvement opportunities and benchmark performance across countries
Support data-driven decision-making
Enable country teams and operational managers to make better decisions through cleaner data, better dashboards, and improved reporting processes
4. Knowledge Management & Enablement
Build and maintain the knowledge base
Centralize institutional knowledge, field feedback, and best practices across all Ops domains
Ensure documentation is actionable, up to date, and accessible for country teams
5. Team Leadership
Manage, coach, and develop a team of xOps Associates
Allocate workload across team members in line with roadmap priorities
Create a high-accountability environment where the team delivers with autonomy and quality
Act as a career development partner: provide regular feedback, support skill building, and help each team member grow
