Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and quieter, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main barrier: charging.
Electra is constantly innovating to make electric vehicle charging easier, with a network of fast charging stations (20 minutes on average) and a maximally simplified user experience.
Based in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Nantes, Brussels, Madrid, Zurich, Vienna, Munich, Milan and Amsterdam, Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 15,000 fast charging points by 2030, proud to contribute to the energy transition in Europe.
In 3 years, we have:
Deployed 300 stations and over 1700 fast-charging points
Secured thousands of stations to establish Electra as a leader in the European market
Opened several offices in France and Europe
Raised over €750 million in equity and debt financing from renowned investors and institutions

đź’Ľ Your Missions
Electra is seeking a Senior Communication Manager to lead and develop its external communication strategy. The candidate will be responsible for enhancing the company's visibility, positioning Electra as a category leader in electric vehicle charging, and ensuring consistent and effective external communication.

Define Communication Strategy
- Define what need to be achieved and establish measurable objectives.
- Identify and understand the target audience segments
- Develop core messages that align with Electra goals / brand
- Select the best platforms to reach Electra audience and create a content plan
- Track performance, measure results, and refine the strategy as needed.

Event Organization:
- Plan and coordinate events to promote Electra’s products, services, and vision (see for example Electra Mobilité 2035)
- Participate in industry trade shows (Paris Motor Show, SIEC, MIPIM, Flotte Autos, …) in France, conferences, and other events to boost the company's visibility
- Work closely with internal teams and external providers to ensure smooth execution of events.

Press Relations Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and specialized media
- Write and distribute press releases, articles, and editorial content
- Manage press inquiries and organize interviews, press visits, and speaking opportunities
- Train internal speakers (co-founders and C-levels) to press interviews

LinkedIn Account Management:
- Develop and implement a content strategy on LinkedIn to increase engagement and awareness among Electra partners, political leaders and key organisations
- Create aligned with Electra's communication goals in coordination with Brand Manager
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies based on results

Influence with Institutional Stakeholders:
- Develop a targeted influence strategy to strengthen relationships with institutional players (associations, French Tech ecosystem, …) in coordination with Public Affairs team
- Promote the company's initiatives regarding energy transition and e-mobility.

Managing an External Communication Agency:
- Oversee collaboration with communication agencies
- Ensure that the agency's actions align with the overall communication strategy
- Monitor campaign results and adjust actions based on set objectives.

Profile Sought:
- 10+ years of experience
- Strategic & Operational: Comfortable with both strategic communication planning and executing operational tasks
- Execution Skills: Strong ability to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Press Network: Existing network in the media and press relations field
- Institutional Network: Established contacts within the public sector in France, including authorities, ministries, and institutions related to energy and mobility
- Leadership: Ability to position Electra as a leader in e-mobility in France, demonstrating initiative and conviction.
Required Skills:
- Excellent writing skills in both French and English
- Proficiency in digital communication tools (especially LinkedIn)
- Strong project management skills, with attention to detail
- Good knowledge of the e-mobility sector and the challenges of energy transition is a plus
